Jesus = Pharoah and his chariots
Summary: The children of Israel are at a low point; they accuse God of planning to kill them in the wilderness. Moses lifts the rod of judgment, the flood of God's judgment is held back; Isreal goes over on dry land; Pharaoh and all his chariouts are destroyed when God's judgment is released. God's wrath (the wall of water) was fully poured out on Jesus (Pharoah and his chariouts) that we guilty ones (complaining Israel) could go free.
